Some pikturez

Adeline of ChezWhat? has tagged me with a meme that I'm going to get around to doing hopefully tomorrow, but in the meantime, here are the promised pictures. They were done on commission for the woman who is helping me out getting a gallery show. There's also a cafe owner who has asked me to call her ASAP about getting my work up in her cafe. I called and left a message. Exciting, and nerve-wracking. It's like this stuff is ready to take off. And I'm here, on Earth, like, oh God, really?

Without further ado: a trumpet.

and again:

and once more, for good measure:

You can see the whole trumpet set here.

On that note (ha ha! I made a funny), I'm going to bed.

The second shot is my favorite of the three. There's something very Miles Davis about it. Kind of Blue-ish.

I think I'll listen to Miles right now, actually.

LOL, my daughter is in the next room practicing clarinet as I view your blog and type this. My eyes and ears are having issues with each other!
J, they are all great. I'm with Suley - I love the way the blue one has that Kind Of Blue-ish feel. Nicely done.

So happy for you and the commissioned work. Let it take off, it's meant to. You'll be ok. :)

That's so amazing! Yay, I'm so excited for you!

Love the trumpet pictures. I really like the black and white ones. It's almost like a secret, you would have a hard time telling what it was if it wasn't something you did.
