(...)

What is this that I feel? Am I tapping into something bigger than me? Though I only know my own feelings, my own sensations spreading through me when I hear these sounds, see these sights, I know the universality of this silent sadness...not a painful sadness but a quiet one. I don't experience this sadness. This sadness experiences me. And then it goes.

Hmmm. I like when you say things experience you. Seems like I've heard that in your blog before. For lack of a better word, it's just a very cool way to put it.

Also, looooove the yellow collection, I want to frame them and hang them in my room. Don't know what it is about those pictures, but I could stare all day.

As Dinosaur Jr. says: "I feel the pain of everyone, then I feel nothing."

So, uh, those Chia-pets are funny aren't they? Little clay plant things, all growin' grass that looks like fur. Ch-ch-ch-Chia!

Sock puppets and the word "grunion." Those are funny. Think about those things....:)

Trying to figure out how to cheer you up,

Wow. I love this short, but simple post. Makes me want to hop in the car, drive to Ohio, and make you teach me how to skate. Or just sit and drink a few beers. Seems like our moods are matching.

Hey, E, can I come?
So, I might say "I hope you feel better," but I know that sometimes you don't want to. You want to marinate in your own mood and be broody. Marinate. Be broody. And feel better when you feel like it.
Oh, I'm on a one-woman crusade for soup. Eat soup. It's like a hug from the inside.
And drink beer. That's always a good idea. (what, did you think I was going to respond to a post without reccomending it?)
cheers mate.

Beer is kind of like soup. Cold barley soup.

It's especially good when it goes. Or at least it's better for ME when it goes....

Cheers,
